CSARN / 4th Crisis Leadership and Business Recovery Conference

CSARN / Mass Crowd, Disorder and Business Disruption - Another Summer of unrest?

There are already indications that the UK is about to enter a period of unrest this Summer. We have already seen opposing political groups taking to the streets to demonstrate their points of view in response to the murder in Woolwich. Public disorder with racist overtones have already taken place in different parts of the country.

The on-going economic decline and the corporate and government plans to rein back on spend may well be the cause of industrial unrest and we have also seen the rise in animal rights activist activity and global conflict. Whatever happens next, the business and government sectors need to remain calm, demonstrate leadership and be prepared sufficiently enough to recover as quickly as possible from any type of disruption. This briefing will give the latest assessment on the potential impact to the business community and discuss the strategies that need to be put in place
